Sermon on 03.17.24 by Pastor Tom Biang covering Exodus 32 & 34. Leading up to Exodus 34 we see a pattern of the Israelites sinning and turning away from God, culminating in the rebellious golden calf incident. Moses intercedes and appeals to God's character to not destroy the people but to relent and preserve them as a people for His redemption. On the Holy Mountain, God reveals Himself to Moses. In this section of Scripture, God gives us one of the most concise descriptions of His character in the entire Old Testament. It is the section most requoted by the old testament and for good reason. We will take a look at why this was so important to Israel to remember, and why it is important for us today.
