Paulettra James talks about her husband of five years meanwhile; he is serving a 38 year prison sentence. Paulettra became involved with a local prison advocacy group to help her with the incarceration of her son. She has been working with this group for over two years.
Paulettra and her husband had hopes that he would be released by late 2023 or early 2024 according to their calculation of a law that was passed which allowed inmates to receive more good time.
