Description

Up on Roan Mountain, at 6,285 feet, the whole world tells the truth.

This episode is a love letter to the place that raised us..

the Doe River, Twin Springs, the birches, the frost, the ridge lines,

and every memory buried under layers of paint and time.

It’s about bending without breaking.

It’s about the freedom we had, the signs we see now,

and the way the mountain still holds us steady

even when the world moves too fast.

Einstein said gravity bends light.

My friend Jonathon said we all make a small indentation in space and time.

And standing on the Roan… both feel true.

So tonight, before you go to bed

or in the morning when the sun hits the ridge..

listen to this, and remember where you came from.

Because no matter how many rules or signs go up,

no matter what changes…

Roan is still Roan.

And we’re still its people.

We bend, but we don’t break.

Not up here.

Not on this mountain.
