In 2008, there was a US remake of a popular Takashi Miike Japanese horror film about people getting a phone call from themselves 3 days in the future that foreshadows their own sudden death. This is that film: One Missed Call (2008)
It's kinda like Final Destination meets The Ring. A young Ariel Winter (pre-Modern Family) has a role. As well as Margaret Cho, Ed Burns and Megan Good.
