The Mothers of Jesus || Rahab
In this sermon we look at Rahab's story (Joshua 2 / 6). Rahab was a prostitute in the city of Jericho, a land that God had promised the people of Israel. In a faithless land, she was treated as if she was worthless. Yet she had faith in God and helped his people escape death as they spied out the land. Her one request was that she and her family would be spared in the impending destruction of the city. The men returned for her and saved her and her family. God's salvation didn't end there. Rahab's story points to a God who returns to save those who have faith in him. A Savior who would once and for all heal the hurt.
