What happens when storms come, and you’re sitting in the rubble of what you’ve built? Should you even build again? If fear keeps you on the sidelines trying to avoid the pain of loss from storms, let’s look at what Jesus says. 

Journal questions: 

• Where in your life are you currently building on a “sandy” surface? 
  • Does this cause you to fear or worry? 
• Have you felt the loss of a storm coming and destroying something you’ve built? 
• Read the “Sermon on the Mount” in Matthew chapters 5-7
  • Which area stood out to you most? 
  • Are there areas in your life you need to take down and rebuild on Jesus? 
  • How would life change if you built everything that you do on Jesus?
