Description

In this message, “Assembly Required,” we explore God’s design for the church and why following Jesus was never meant to be done alone. Rooted in 2 Chronicles 1:3,7 and Matthew 16:13–18, this sermon reveals the church as God’s primary vehicle for His mission in the earth. Built on Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone, the church is designed to function as an interdependent community where believers grow, serve, and pursue God together. We examine the early church model in Acts 2:42–47, where believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer, creating a culture where faith was lived out daily. Challenging the idea that faith is private or individualistic, this message reminds us that while you can find Jesus alone, you cannot follow Jesus alone. Ultimately, we discover that when the church gathers, gives, and grows together, God responds and His favor becomes the fruit of faithfulness.
