Description

Conflict is part of life, unfortunately. Especially around the holidays. But what happens when that conflict leaves you cut off from the people and things you love? This week, we talk strategies for navigating conflict and building bridges.. even when you weren’t the one to tear them down

This Week’s Listener Question:

What should I so for the holidays when my daughter-in-law has cut us off from our son and grandchildren? I desperately want to see them and build memories. Help!

Small Group Questions:

To build connection with a friend or in your small group, ask each other these questions.

1.  Have you ever been cut off from someone you care about?

2.  Imagine yourself communicating your feelings, needs, and requests in a calm manner with someone you’re in conflict with. What does the conversation look, sound, and feel like?

3.  Why is important to be clear about your boundaries and expectations during the holiday season?

4.  Soul Activity – Who do you need to reach out to and start a calm and hopefully healing conversation with this week? Be brave and share you true feelings, needs, and requests.
