This Week's Listener’s Question:
I’m so exhausted all the time. I have so many demands on my time and energy. I’m working full time, raising three kids, and trying to be a good everything, a good wife, mother, friend, daughter… How do I juggle all the balls in my life and maintain some kind of balance?
Small Group Questions:
To build connection with a friend or in your small group, ask each other these questions.
1. What are all of the balls you’re trying to juggle in this season of your life? Which ones are you juggling well and which ones are you dropping?
2. When it comes to accomplishing all the demands in your life, where do you notice self-judgment or an inner critic coming up?
3. Was does your inner critic often say? Is this voice pushing you be perfect? Whose voice could your inner critic be? How could you tell this voice to relax, rest, step back, or shut up?
4. Christine encouraged us to be “floppy” this week and drop some balls or disappoint someone. What does this challenge bring up for you? Are you willing to take the challenge? If so, what’s your plan?
