Beginner Yoga Class - emphasizing heart-openers (backward-bending poses), to release tightness trapped in thighs, hips, chest and shoulders.
Back-bends /heart openers help open us up to a joyful life.
Beginners- can learn the basic poses and gain the confidence in their practice to shift to trying new classes.
Adepts- can use simplicity to refine their practice to a deeper level of experience.
Tip- Take your time preparing the body and spine for backward bending; thighs, hip flexors, psoas, chest and shoulders. NB:- always lengthen the front of your body before bending backwards !
