Lana Miller has the attitude of an East Coaster, born and raised in Kelowna, and has lived most of her life in Vancouver Canada. Lana’s background was in the hospitality corporate and luxury retail world while mincing around in 4” heels and ruining stockings daily. She saw SMP on Instagram one day, deep dove down the internet rabbit hole, and within a few days she was looking for a comprehensive course that taught not just bald heads but hair density as well. From the moment she saw what SMP could do, she knew that she was changing her career and about to drastically increase the confidence of so many people. Traded in her suits for sneakers and the SMP life and is not looking back.
The SMP industry has a niche for a strong, clear voice to be an advocate, educator and ambassador for SMP density to boost the confidence of women and men dealing with hair insecurities. When she entered the industry in 2018, she immediately recognized that there was almost no Density SMP representation for men and women with thinning hair. During her research she actually found articles discouraging Scalp Micropigmentation for women and it only seemed to be centered around men. She was irritated with these false messages because here was a fantastic option for thinning hair and hardly anyone knew this was an option and very few artists were showcasing it. This spurred Lana into looking for a course that also taught SMP hair density and found it at Ink Barber in Langley. She was hired on as part of the expanding team and is an instructor for their training course.
Lana has been an integral part of the incredible INK BARBER team since 2018. Specializing in SMP density for thinning hair for both men and women. The studio is located in Langley, BC which is approximately 45 mins from downtown Vancouver.
