My friends Avery and Grace join a discussion about a topic that seems to be coming up a lot lately: body image. Every single person has an opinion about their bodies. You may not know it, but you take part in self-talk daily. Once we bring awareness to our thoughts about ourselves, we are able to shift the way we self-talk. This leads to an inner confidence and peace with who we are in this very moment. We realize that sometimes it can be too much pressure to ask ourselves to love everything about our body and to always be "body positive". In this episode, we discuss the journey of finding that inner voice and shifting our thoughts from body negative to body acceptance and respect. Step one: unfollow accounts that put pressure on your or lead to comparison and envy, and follow the accounts that empower and encourage you (like the ones we listed below!)
