Mind and awareness are 2 different things. Imagine mind as a small place full of a bowl , where the bowl is feeling like love, hate, sad, happiness, revenge, etc... The Ball as awareness. Now you shift the ball from one bowl to another bowl and it creates a distraction. What we have to practice is to keep a ball in one bowl. Do one thing at a time really well. Do not shift your awareness from one thing to another. Just practice it in routine life and you will be good at it.
