Description

Dillon Coke sits down with us after the current tragedy in Minneapolis, and the tragic death of George Floyd.  First and foremost, a huge thank you to Dillon Coke for coming on another episode and being so vulnerable. I am eternally grateful to know Dillon, this episode absolutely wrecked me. Dillion opens up about being a young adult black man, and the fears he has living day to day, in a climate like this. "Just make it home and the rest will work itself out" is a phrase he repeats to himself. Dillon also goes over ways we can be an ally "1. listen 2. amplify 3. speak up if you see injustice" -- more tools from Dillons sister will be on instagram @ohhappydani. Injustice or not, we need to treat others like humans. We are one humanity. We have to do better.  These conversations are so hard, but I am so thankful for friends who are willing to share.
