Hossam el-Hamalawy is a revolutionary socialist from egypt living and organizing in the diaspora in germany. In this talk he explains the connection between class struggles in egypt and the struggle for the liberation of palestine. He also gives an answer on why the egyptian regime is so ardent to stifle any pro-palestinian protest. He not only gives a detailed account of the history of revolutionary politics in egypt in the last years, but also reflects on the role of revolutionary organizations in general.
