We have to go with the flow when it comes to career decisions. Times are changing. Parents should rethink the rewards and benefits of taking on debt due to the high cost of education when their teens can make more money reselling sneakers on the internet. Career changers and retirees also need to rethink learning a new skill for a dying profession like real estate instead of letting your DNA work for you. A college student who really wants to be an entrepreneur should graduate ASAP and then work for someone they aspire to be like for 2 years for free. A retiree who loves to travel should not waste their time getting a real estate license and should earn a TEFL certificate instead so they can see the world as they teach what they are already good at. The way we do things today because of the internet is drastically different. The game is faster, tougher and more transparent today. If you don’t get with the program and go with the flow, you don’t have a chance.
