In the wake of the George Floyd tragedy, I have finally decided to weigh in with my educated opinion based on 23 years of experience witnessing firsthand decades of bad policing. Police departments nationwide have dropped the ball and are finally getting the spanking they deserve. Men and women of law enforcement go above and beyond putting their lives on the line everyday for a thankless job but these departments, as an institution, need to wake up and pay attention to the hundreds of incidents of bad policing that have been rearing their ugly head for decades.
