Two small wildfires burning in Rocky Mountain National Park
- One fire is burning near Mirror Lake in the northern part of the park. The other fire is burning in the Forest Canyon area below Trail Ridge Road between Rock Cut and Forest Canyon overlook, according to a news release.
- Ground and aerial crews will fight the fires Friday. Timber around both fires is more than 50 percent dead due to recent insect outbreaks, park officials said.
