Description

In this week’s episode of The Alcohol ReThink Podcast Patrick is joined by an extra special guest. It is his one and only mum.

During this episode, Patrick asks his mum about what it was like to grow up with a father who used alcohol heavily, then seeing that pattern repeat with her ex-husband and then Patrick himself.

They talk openly and candidly about their experiences around alcohol from a young age and the impact and influence it had on them growing up.

This episode is in memory of Patrick's grandad who openly shared with Jacqueline how hard it was to be addicted to alcohol. Patrick's grandad was an inspirational man who liked to keep himself to himself.

He hopes that sharing this conversation with his mum that both of their stories will help to create change and break the chain of generational alcoholism among men.
