After a tame day yesterday, markets start the day selling off a bit. We will need about 30-60 minutes to see which direction the market decides to go in today.
Lots of big names coming out with earnings this week, especially in the tech sector, some of which include Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, and Amazon amongst others. Investors are likely anticipating earnings that surpass expectations.
Asian stocks getting hammered as China continues to crack down on multiple sectors. Could be temporary FUD but hard to say for certain without knowing the full extent of the regulations that will be brought down.
Bitcoin seems to be rallying! In the past couple days it peeked above 40k and has since spent quite a bit of time consolidating around 38-39k. We still need to see a significant move above 40k for a real sign of strength but this is a great move in the right direction.
