Description

An undercover police officer talking about courage and how important trust is within an organization and about his own incredible story of recovery and how he helps other Officers have successful careers in policing.
Courage, is what every police officer wants and aspires to. Without it, a police officer would not be able do his or her duties causing a negative impact within the organization.
But what is often forgotten is that courage is more than running toward gunshots while everyone else runs away from them — so many officers are required to perform their dangerous duties while they suffer from anxiety and depression.
The challenge for undercover officers is dealing with stress over a prolonged period as well as the conflict of living out two identities, their real one and their fake one.
Many officers don't seek clinical counselling and many of them don't have trust within their own organization to reach out for help, but still must continue to perform at the highest level of vigilance.
Ultimately you need trust within your organization. When your members feel supported and are able to reach out, they will perform at a higher level and help the organization as a whole.
