We may wear it on a shirt, but we know "just do it" isn't the greatest piece of advice out there. Especially for a busy woman. We've got enough on our plates to have someone tell us, "just go get it done."
In this episode, after Michelle and I catch up for a few, we get into the strategies we use with our clients to help them get into the "Get Shit Done" mindset.
- Plan for problems ahead (holidays, work travel, vacation)
- Have a schedule and stick to it.
- Keep the goal the goal, and accept that you’re not going to be able to do everything.
- Know that you don’t have to be awesome all the time
- Embrace the grind.
- Know yourself, and where your blocks and distractions are likely to be.
- Have a support system.
- Have something to look forward to doing every day.
- Realize: YOU are in control, and YOU set the tone of YOUR own day.
- Recognize that there’s no one size fits all approach nor a “perfect time”.
- Create “no distractions” time and space for yourself, even if only little chunks.
- Keep going, and focus on the bigger picture.
