Paige is a mom to 3 and wife to a police officer. She has been a pillar of faith for my life and I was interested to talk about how she is navigating such uncharted territory of police brutality with her family. Paige is vulnerable as she shares insight at what it’s like to be married to a cop, especially during life today. I’m thankful for a friend willing to dialogue about the injustice happening in the world. I’m thankful for her perspective as she sheds some light on something I don’t know much about. We talk about how we were nervous to have this conversation recorded for all to hear, in fear of saying something wrong. But it is in the face of fear, conversations need to be had. It starts with us being willing to say hard things and dialogue with our friends. Even if we don’t agree on everything, we sit and listen.
