In this message, we explore God's original design for unity in creation, focusing on Genesis 2:7-25, where Adam and Eve were placed in the Garden of Eden to work together in harmony. God intended for humanity to live in partnership, fulfilling His purpose and experiencing peace and abundance. Yet, through disobedience in Genesis 3, that unity was broken, resulting in separation and hardship.
We then look at the consequences of improper unity through the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11, where humanity’s collective effort led to division when their motives clashed with God’s purpose. True, God-centered unity is exemplified in Acts 2, where the early church, united by the Holy Spirit, grew in strength and transformed lives.
