Liane Moccia shares her infertility journey which included being given the diagnosis of unexplained infertility. She said I just assumed when we decided to start a family it would happen. Nope three failed IUI attempts and then on to IVF. She did the whole protocol to hear, based on the imagines and your numbers we are cancelling the retrieval, the cycle is over. She said I didn't know that was an option. Her body had not responded to the medication and there were no eggs to retrieve. She was devastated and was not prepared for that news and said I just naively believed that this was it. After two more attempts with the same results she was told IVF is not an option for you.
Liane said I did not believe I was broken and believed she could have a child. She dug deep into her health and found another doctor for a second opinion. This doctor had a more holistic approach. Listen to all of Liane's story to hear how she became a mom of twin girls. Liane said when given the diagnosis of unexplained infertility it means that the medical staff doesn't know why. It doesn't mean that you are broken or that something is wrong with you. Liane is now a Registered Clinical Herbalist who helps women and men take charge of their fertility, prepare for pregnancy, balance hormones and manage stress. It does not define you, its a box that conventional medicine puts you in, so they can put a protocol to you. Again It does not define you. Understand the full spectrum of possibility and keep it open so you are not defined by statistics. Remember those numbers are an average and you are not average, you are an individual. Understand that you are in a lot more control over your fertility than we have been led to believe. Your fertility is really your health and if you can take a step back, focus on yourself and your health, it will start tipping the scale for you and your partner.
