I don't want someone to boss me around and to tell me what to do. I want someone to guide me hilum Dan Clark and welcome. I was having a conversation yesterday with someone about life and particularly about couples and relationships. And they were informing me how they felt about the relationship that they were in. And they were thankful that they felt guided, not being bossed around or told what to do. But when things were going, not going well, that they felt guided and understood, it's fascinating how someone interprets what you do, by the way that you do it. You know, the things that we do when we are trying to influence someone often come across as being bossy or controlling when really, it's because we're not asking the right kinds of questions. If you are seeing someone who is struggling with something, ask great questions, be a better guide and lean into the relationship by understanding what their true needs are.
