I believe that everyone should change the oil in their car every 3000 miles. I also believe that everyone should celebrate Christmas and New Year's. And I also believe that everyone should be so thankful on Thanksgiving because of the life that they live. But just because I believe those things doesn't mean that that's true for everyone. We're all kind of that way, right? I also believe that everyone should have a life coach, or should at least spend time with a therapist sometime in their life. Again, why? Because those things are very important to me. But have you ever been around someone who was insistent that you do things their way that you would agree with them and believe with them, that they wanted you to do it the way that they were expecting you to, and whatever they believed had to be true for everyone. We all have those things on the inside of us that are like that. But then there's the idea that maybe it's okay for not everyone to celebrate Christmas or Thanksgiving or New Year's or it's okay, if everyone doesn't actually have a life coach or see a therapist. Those things are just okay. Because my view isn't the same view that everyone needs to have. Learning how to allow yourself to be in the presence of someone else that has a different opinion, or a different view of the world, or a different philosophy is a powerful thing. And that skill, that practice can truly change everything about you. So learn to pay attention to what others really like and don't like. And then just allow them to be who they need to be and accept what it is that they're telling you. That's true about them. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
