I'm often wondering how we define love. Love is an action and a verb. And it's also a noun. It's a behavior. It's an attitude. It's a thought process. It is so many different things to so many other people. And we all have a different ways of thinking about what love is. And I believe that love is the way we can change the world. So thinking about it from that perspective, you can't love the world if you don't love yourself. Well, that isn't easy. Are you judgmental or condescending to yourself? Is it difficult for others to see you accurately because you're judging and informing them how you're considering yourself? When you judge others, you're condemning them and making them feel like they are less than you're doing that to yourself because we are all the same. Love starts with learning how to be kind and compassionate to yourself—not giving yourself lots of room for your badness, giving yourself lots of room for being kind and gentle and overwhelmed, by the way, that you are so loving to yourself so that you can love others. You can't give away something that you can't practice internally. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
