sadness is a powerful emotion. When someone says they are sad. Do you try to encourage them? And will I want to know why? It's okay to be sad? Let them be sad, isn't it just okay? The next time that you're sad, say this out loud. I am sad. Learning to be okay with the emotion of sadness allows it to show up. This week I practice with a client saying to me, I am sad Dan. They said it over and over and over and pretty soon they actually felt sad. The surprise on his face was amazing. Because he knew was sad, but he just didn't feel it. Feeling it allows it to show up and helps it go away. That is because when we are sad, we have a tendency to push it away and get busy and not want to acknowledge that we're sad. So let sadness show up. When you are sad, guess what? If you let it show up, it will go away a lot faster. And you will feel sad a lot less. I love you. I'm am Clark.
