There are things about ourselves that we're pretty negative about, Somtimes those things that we've experienced didn't reflect our best self. It doesn't mean that we're a good or bad person, it just means that we're still trying to figure it out. When you are harsh on yourself the more you're likely to do those same things, So one of the ways that you can move away from this is to make fun of it, decide that you're going to do it differently next time.
