Description

Yesterday we talked about how the past affects who we are. We use language like I wound up being angry, because I experienced anger when I was growing up. The I wound up statement helps us see where things come from in our past. Well, today, let's focus on who I'm becoming. I love saying things like this, I became really good at what I'm doing, because I practice the skills really hard. I'm becoming the most quality therapist you ever saw. I'm a very kind, gentle man. And the reason I'm that way is because I focus on being kind and gentle. So today, I want you to be thinking about who you're becoming. I'm becoming whatever you want that to be, because in what you're doing to become that person, and that way, we're thinking more about the future. Again, an example would be I'm becoming very gentle and generous, because I'm taking time to be fully present. Practice this, I'm sure I'll have a big difference in how you think about yourself. I love you. I'm Dan Clark.
