Description

As part of our series "Finding Ourselves in the Story of God," we're inviting some of our friends to speak into our St. Peter's community, starting with Joanna Thomas, a spiritual director from All Angles' Church. Reflecting on John 11, Joanna talks about how Martha is often overlooked in light of her sister Mary, yet how she shows us what it means to be with and engage with Jesus even in the midst of deep grief and disappointment. As she brings all of herself, both grief and faith to him, Joanna reflects on what it is like to sit in that space with Jesus and hear him ask if she believes he is the resurrection and the life.
