Recorded on 25 March 2021 for ICMDA Webinars.

Dr Peter Saunders chairs a webinar with Sharon James

The God of mercy has compassion on all he has made, and his followers have been at the forefront of efforts to relieve suffering. The parable of the Good Samaritan has been described as the parable that changed the world. Christ’s followers, through history and today, are in the forefront of providing healthcare and other humanitarian assistance in a needy world.

Sharon James studied history at Cambridge University, has an M.Div from Toronto Baptist Seminary, and a doctorate from the University of Wales. She is married to Bill, who is Principal of London Seminary. They have two grown up children and four grandchildren. Sharon works as Social Policy Analyst for The Christian Institute, UK. She has travelled to many countries as a conference speaker and is the author of several books, most recently 'Gender Ideology: What do Christians Need to Know?' (Christian Focus, 2019). This title is available in Spanish and is currently being translated into a number of other languages.
