During this conversation she shares her experience of becoming a designer, how deepening her connection to her Mexican ancestry has been an ally during this experience, and how tapping into this ancestral wisdom has helped her heal parts of herself and served as fuel/ inspiration for her personal and professional development. Itzy's work focuses on bringing back memories of ancestral designs from Mesoamerican art found in Mexico into the modern user experience in web and visual design.
