In the fourth episode of the Keyholder Meditation Course, we add the use of a body scan to our basic Keyholder Meditation session. A body scan relaxes the muscles and supports inner focus to bring about the meditative state.
And the practical application of this episode is bringing the basic meditative qualities of patience, acceptance, composure, and equanimity into our body scan, which will prepare us to bring them fully into our everyday life (which we will do in our next full meditation session.)
Note: Those who are under medical care or have mental health concerns should consult with their medical professional or counselor before engaging in practices that relax the mind and body, such as Meditation, Yoga, Tai Chi, etc.)
