While most military spouses support military spouses, Jen Amos is a Gold Star daughter supporting military spouses. The term "Gold Star" describes a family member who has lost a loved one in military service. For Jen, that was when she lost her father while he was on active duty when she was 10 years old. Today, as a Veteran Spouse and Director of Operations for a military-focused financial firm, she feel compelled to giving back to military spouses, in honor of her father and mother who always have been "holding down the fort" for her siblings and as a military spouse.
