Episode 002 is all about clearing up a rumor: Hillcrest High School sports are NOT competitive. That's not even close to true! Six years ago, maybe. But not in 2020. We have had multiple programs win CIF in their division, and some have won state! Coach Wood of the Hillcrest High School Boys Basketball jumped at the chance to tell you all about the great things going on in his program.
You will hear from Coach Wood about how the team has grown and what to expect from the rest of this season. And you will hear from two key players, a veteran who has been playing on the varsity team since his freshmen year (Sebastian Mendoza), and another who is brand new to Hillcrest (Mason Owens) but making a big impact on the court.
