Garrett Kaiser closes out his time with Lifepointe Youth by preaching a message of how we should live like Jesus. But the story in Matthew 21 is not the typical depiction of our Savior that we hear about in Sunday School...and that's okay!
Jesus was the authority that shook the Jewish traditions of the time, and called out practices and traditions that focused too much on the what, and not enough on who they were worshiping or why they were worshiping God to begin with. When He saw the temple repurposed as a corrupt marketplace, Jesus took action to speak and act against it. We, through reading and applying scripture, can do the same when we see those same situations in our world. Sometimes asking "What would Jesus do" can present some interesting points of application for us!
