As we continue in our “There is More” series, Pastor Josh discusses how everyone can be difference makers through serving others.
As we read the story of Zacchaeus in Luke 19, the interaction with Jesus changed the course of his life. Jesus took a tax collecting, corrupt man who made a living off the backs of innocent people and showed him a way to inherit eternal life. We know that we are called to be difference makers in our own lives for those around us. Moving from how we can help ourselves and continue to climb the social ladder to a place of service will shape the world we live in for the better, because we have Jesus! We know we must serve Him first, serve others above ourselves and give God glory for all we do. In a world desperate for a hero, we get to point to a real-life one by serving others!
