Description

Tristan Friedman opens a two-part series on “The Birth” and how expansive the narrative leading up to the birth of Jesus actually is.

We know that in the writings of Isaiah and Micah foretold that there would be a Messiah, born of a virgin in Bethlehem. The details of the nature of the Savior describe Jesus to a tee and prove the authenticity of their prophetic voices. The timing God had ordained is remarkable! To know that prophets spoke of how Jesus would be brought to humanity before it would come to pass is a faith builder! God ordained these words to be given far ahead of the Savior’s birth so that the Word of God could be proven to be true, even after hundreds of years! Then, the fulfillment of those prophecies (with many more to come) in Jesus’ birth came. After all of the waiting and holding onto to the promise of a Messiah, a baby born in Bethlehem would change the course of history forever!
