1. In the course of a normal week, how often are you mindful of the truth that Christ will come again in glory?
2. When Christ’s second coming comes to your mind, what feelings typically accompany it?
3. How does Advent help us resist both despair of this life and inordinate love of this life?
4. When Jesus or the Apostles warn us to “stay awake” or “be ready” for Christ’s appearing, what do you think they mean by that?
