Read the text and underline key thoughts, characters, ideas, and words.
- Read Luke 9:1-6 because Jesus references this in 22:35-38.
- What is the main teaching point about the Kingdom in verses 24-30?
- According to verses 31-34, why did Peter deny Jesus and why did he not ultimately fail (like Judas)?
- The disciples still don’t understand what Jesus is teaching them in verses 35 – 38. He is telling them that the world is changing and that people will nolonger receive them as they once did. Comparing these verses with 9:1-6, how are they to enter the world differently than they did before?
