Christ relates to us in every aspect except sin. God took on flesh, God experienced temptation, God brought us the words of life, God carried the cross, God died for our souls all in the name of love, in the name of Christ. Love is who God is, love is God’s word, and love is what God wants for us. But in order to be shaped in that love and formed in that love, we must be willing to seek that love beyond any other passion there is.
