This week, I talk to Army Veteran, Author, Cancer Survivor Brandi Benson. She enlisted in 2008, deployed to Iraq in 2009 where she not only fought the common enemy, but found out there was another enemy inside of her, fighting a battle alone as she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Ewing Sarcoma. Through her internal battle with Ewing Sarcoma, she found journaling as an escape and also to share her experience for her nephew to have memories to hold onto. That journaling turned into the book, "The Enemy Inside Me" a story of survival and inspiration for others.
