I felt this is the perfect time to remind each of you of a concept that I learned from Jocko Willink. #Jocko is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL officer, co-author of the #1 New York Times bestseller Extreme Ownership, Dichotomy of Leadership, host of the top-rated Jocko Podcast, and co-founder of Echelon Front, where he serves as Chief Executive Officer, leadership instructor, speaker and strategic advisor. Jocko created a phrase or more specifically an equation that’s inherently changed my life…and although simple to understand, hugely impactful…Discipline = Freedom 🇺🇸. This is timely given the circumstances we currently find ourselves in, specifically how do we maintain discipline in the face of quartantines, social distancing and just being thrown completely out of our daily routine.
