Often when I drop my kids off at school over the last year I’ve said to them “Make today better than yesterday and tomorrow better than today.” The message behind this quote is simple…always be striving to be better. To grow. As you know It’s much easier said than done. But the importance of each and every day cannot be overstated. What you do today matters. “People create success in their lives by focusing on today. It may sound trite, but today is the only time you have. It’s too late for yesterday. And you can’t depend on tomorrow. That’s why today matters.”
"Just for Today" is a simple method taught by the great John Maxwell that helps add some clarity to this daily discipline.
