Hi everyone...Welcome to Monday Morning Mastery powered by The NEXT Academy - leadership built for contractors. In today's episode titled "What's Your Peanut🥜⁉️" we discuss the story of the Boll Weevil and its unique and profound connection to Enterprise, Alabama.
The story is a great illustration of living in vision or living in circumstance. This is an ideal story for the challenges we all face in our current climate. When the boll weevil wiped out an area's dominant crop, cotton, in the earlier 20th century, the farmers, in the face of bleak #circumstances, turned to growing a variety of crops, most notably peanuts, to great success. So much, in fact, that a statue of a boll weevil was erected in Enterprise to thank the insect for the #vision its devastation had revealed.
