During this episode I had the pleasure of speaking with Jamie Johnston. Jamie is a Massage Therapist, firefighter and founder of the website The Massage Therapy Development Centre. Along with being a Massage Therapy educator, Jamie has a clinical practice. When he is not in clinic he spends his time helping to manage athletes in Hockey Canada's development program.
Jamie and I discussed the importance of exercise and movement in clinical practice. We discussed how to prescribe exercise for patients in a pain. The difference between exercise for pain management, versus exercise and performance as well as much more.
What activities have you found help you manage your pain, or mood, over this past year?
