Description

Our lives are filled with busy-ness. What if we were to downsize our homes, closets, friend lists, or focus on what's of most value? Life is not about money. Having the biggest house, nicest car, or most expensive clothes does not add value to our lives. Instead these things add more distress. Really, living our lives should be done simply. In reference to zenhabits.net, vanillapapers.net, and simplyfiercely.com, there are areas of our lives we should consider downsizing or decluttering. Physical clutter gives us a visual mess. We also need to declutter mentally, emotionally, financially...and change the way we live. An easy way to start, take a weekend. Commit to no television or internet and decompress from technology. Next pick a room, closet, bookcase or start with a drawer. Put items of value into a pile, and items of no value into another. The value pile gets put away in a clean and organized manner. Those items with no value get donated or thrown out. Commit to less spending, eating simple, and creating time for you to focus on goals. The world is full of noise. What's important to you? Challenge yourself to live for you.
