The coronavirus has become the focal point of conversation and the driving force behind our decision-making on an international level.
Many say this is all a conspiracy, but the fear that has been evoked IS real. It is an irrational fear, and it’s seeping into the body of the Church. This same kind of idea plagued the people in Isaiah, as they feared their destruction at the hand of the Assyrians. Isaiah tells them though, in Isaiah 8:12-13:
“You are not to say, ‘It is a conspiracy!’ In regard to all that these people call a conspiracy, And you are not to fear what they fear or be in dread of it. It is the Lord of hosts whom you should regard as holy. And He shall be your fear, And He shall be your dread.”
Trust in the Lord and turn to Him; let Him be your sanctuary so that no matter what comes, you have nothing to fear, for God is with you.
